Serving Seniors Throughout the Community
March 18, 2021
On Tuesday, March 16th, Beachwood Pointe’s Chef Ron prepared delicious Reuben sandwiches and sides for 85 Maple Heights and Garfield Heights seniors. The day was filled with sunshine and thankful seniors.
Beachwood Pointe has been actively supporting the seniors of Ellenwood. In November we started with 80 registered seniors and our March Drive Through increased to 130 seniors. For our upcoming drive through in April there are already 150 registered seniors.
Seniors at Ellenwood receive one meal per month and Beachwood Pointe, UH Bedford Senior Network and many other generous sponsors fill bags with purposeful and fun items. This month, Beachwood provided St. Patrick’s Day accessories to go with the traditional St. Patty’s meal provided. The seniors loved having the opportunity to celebrate their favorite Irish holiday, many immediately putting on their new duds.

Beachwood Pointe is fortunate to have had such a hands-on role in helping the seniors of Ellenwood. It is amazing to see what we can accomplish whenever we take the opportunity to spread our Culture of Care onto our community.
Along with The Ellenwood Senior, Beachwood Pointe recently assisted the Solon seniors at a Leprechaun Luncheon. We handed seniors festive items with their delicious meal prepared by the team at Solon Senior Center.
Maple Heights, Garfield Heights, Ellenwood and Solon Senior Centers have accomplished a tremendous feat in supporting seniors of different communities during this difficult year. We are so appreciative help serve our community with them. It has truly made a wonderful difference to many.
